Stasis Guide

The evolving of your character's Stasis in the last addon to D2, Beyond Light, can be a rather complex endeavor, that is the reason why we decided to create this guide to describe each stage and effective strategy. Even the unlocking can be rather complex but it needs to be in the earlier part of your journey through the new PvE content. To even get the powers you need to first finish the main Beyond Light story but to get an opportunity to use some other possible skills you will have to complete some other post-game activities.

Acquisition of the needed resources like mainly Aspects and Fragments is also a necessary task to see and use the whole potential of these abilities and will require some significant time but as a result, you will get the chance to modify the sub-class.

The unlocking of Stasis

The main storyline can require about 5h, leveling the power-up included as well. After that comes the time when you may begin Reclaiming Europa that is necessary for the later stages of the main described task and next will be mainly speaking of the Born in Darkness parts. To start this quest containing several parts you need to pay a visit to the NPC as a result of all your efforts before that you will be able to open an option to improve your Stasis.

So, let's get to all parts of Born in Darkness.

Part one

During the first task, you must slay 50 Fallens and slay mobs with melee Stasis attacks. 50 Fallens are mostly placed in Eventide Ruins if you do not take into consideration some special events. Melee kills can be achieved by making the charged attacks. Try to only keep to red bar mobs while holding them in small groups so they do not overpower you, and you do not have to waste too much time on that. Another option comes in the Strikes' participation if you do not forget to take the special Brawler modifier.

Now finish three or more Strikes still with Stasis on you. During this work, you need to slay a significant number of combatants that must be under Stasis.

After that travel to the Eternity complex which is occupied by Weniks and his squad which is your next target. You were in this location during the main hunting for Praxis, this time search for the area with a Crux. The boss will spawn when you arrive at the Crux and slay several mobs in the area. When you deal with the boss, pass to the next task.

Arrive at the Bunker that is placed in the Ruins, and clear it including the final boss, and do not leave his chamber right away. A new door will unlock that is where you will stumble upon the quest NPC and arrive at the Beyond to have a talk with the same one again receiving the 2nd quest.

Part two

Again the start is quite easy and involves the slaying of 50 Vex, and one more similar task to the previous part: 20 mobs need to be finished with the careful use of Shatter. For the first task the locations like the Perdition or the same Bunker you have visited before will fit the best if, again, we do not consider the special events. The use of Shatter is a bit more tricky, this is where Salvation’s Grip should be of great help or anything to increase your regeneration. When the mob gets under the frozen effect, all you need to do is destroy the crystals that start forming in any way that is the fastest. Gathering the mobs together, in this case, can too reduce the time needed on this farming as shatters can show the chain's effect. The use of Supers on frozen groups will be very efficient.

Next, you will need to deal with 3 or more Stasis activities finishing off 60 mobs with the use of this subclass, the playlist does not matter. The fastest and easiest way is through the usual Strikes, as PvP can take much more time and effort while Crucible and Gambit here are possible options as well. In case you have not yet managed to reach the Power level 1250, then keep on dealing with these activities a bit longer.

Now get back to Riis-Reborn Approach to deal with another horde of mobs. Arrive in the northern region of the same Ruins, use the elevator. Then find the Crux, slaying anything that gets in your way.

Next, return back to Perdition. At this stage, you have to get through a small dungeon, but be sure not to leave right after the final chest, this is where you can find a new location to the left of the boss room, talk to the NPC, and like the previous, have another talk with this NPC in the usual location as well. This is where you get an opportunity to start the next part.

Part three

Again you start the same slaying of some mobs, this time it is the combination of the previous stages: 100 mobs of two types that you have dealt with on the previous stages, and 20 mobs need to be killed with the use of your new abilities. Again the main aspects of the game that can help you with that are in the Lost Sectors location or the special Events. The procedure with the Stasis remains the same.

Next, you need to get through the Gambit. Then make the best out of stasis during again 3 matches slaying 60 mobs. Salvation’s Grip can help you out with this problem and the smart use of Supers again will help reduce the time spent.

Now return to the location from the first part but this time there will be another boss, Teraks, that you will have to finish off.

Travel right to the Concealed Void and complete it like usual and again instead of leaving, and into the newly unlocked room to the right of the final chest and repeat the steps of the previous parts. As a result, you will get another Stasis upgrade and the final part of the quest. It also might be a fitting time to do some Aspects and Fragments farming.

Part four

Again you will need to slay the combatants on using Stasis. It is some practice before the more complex stage. Next, finish 3 Nightfalls slaying 60 combatants using these new abilities. If you do not want to face any challenge Adept level of difficulty will do just fine for that.

Again get to yet another Crux located in Creation and again repeat the main steps of the previous stages. Next, you will not need to travel far, to the Bray Exoscience, 2 NPCs will be next to a big head. Again return to the beginning to finish the questline which lets you later acquire the 2nd Aspect.

Aspects

To get the first two aspects you will have to complete 2 missions with the corresponding titles: one for Control and another for Destruction.

For the first one of these, you will have to find some time on searching for the 5 Entropic Shards. Then in Kell’s Rising reach the Crux that can be located right before the boss chamber. Congrats, you have received the 1st Aspect into your possession.

The situation with the other Aspect is similar: find 9 Shards and after arriving at the Crux in Riis-Reborn deal with a large wave of mobs. That is all that needs to be done for the 2nd Aspect.

Fragments

The stranger also provides you with various quests for Fragments that are connected to all of the playlists. On the whole, farming will require from you a significant input of your time no matter which playlist, PvE or PvP, you are planning to choose. In the process of Strikes and Gambits, you will have to deal with various tasks tied to the Stasis usage and various debuffs on them. The Crucible works a little more difficult as some tasks require Fragments’ collection, usage of special Rifle and freezing of the opponents. So to get through all that you will need decent Armor and Weapons.

Conclusion

If you experience any issues with leveling the power or any other part of Destiny 2, you may want to look through the boosting the CakeBoost offers. You may also want to take a look at the possible Coaching if you are having problems with getting used to the game or performing overall, this way you will no longer have to waste any time on guides and continuous practicing.
