Whether you are going for a quick loot raid or want to pursue other objectives, your goal is to get out before the map’s time limit. Evacuating with your gear and any other loot you have found requires getting to an extraction point. All maps have a number of extraction points, some of which can be used if you just reach them in time, while others have special requirements like having certain items in your inventory. Not all points are active every time, and some activate depending on the time of day.
