How To Collect All Neymar Cosmetics

Introducing cosmetic cameos of real world and fictional celebrities have long ago become a Fortnite tradition. Such crossovers add variety to the game while entertaining those familiar with the guests. The latest fandom to receive the battle royale treatment is soccer (football) fans all over the world, with the April 27 arrival of a cosmetic pack based on Neymar Jr., the young face of Brazilian and French soccer. This cameo is a long time coming, as Neymar has previously shown up on Fortnite streams and his appearance has been teased previously. All owners of Chapter 2: Season 6 Battle Pass can unlock his outfit and more by completing challenges during play.

Soccer Quests
Your first task is to find one of the following soccer player NPCs that have appeared on soccer fields in different sections of the island:
- Galactico, in the southern half of Pleasant Park in the northwestern quarter of the map;
- Derby Dominator, on the eastern edge of Holly Hedges in the west;
- Shot Stopper, on the island’s eastern shore, overlooked by the warehouse at the Dirty Docks.
Talking to any of them would count for quest completion. Galactico may be the simplest option as he is right out in the open. However, this accessibility can be a double-edged sword, as other players are almost certainly going to be in the area as well. There is no guarantee that they will not attack you or the NPC, especially as challenging the latter can let his killers pick up an epic weapon. As a result, if you wish to use this player, you should probably hurry while being prepared for a shootout. Other options may take more time, but they are likely to be safer.
Each of those characters can offer one quest at a time, for a total of three quests per match. Other players can snatch them up if you don’t hurry. You can always choose between two simple quests: one requires you to travel for 300 meters on foot and the other calls for hitting three targets with the soccer ball toy unlocked through the previous challenge. The former can be completed just by walking in any direction and avoiding engagements, while the latter requires you to select the toy through the emote wheel and throw it harmlessly at passing combatants. Once the quest is finished, you will be able to pick up a new one, progressing towards your objective.
Kicking the ball works the same as the throw from the previous step. You don’t have to cover the entire distance in one kick – the meters from each kick will count towards the objective. However, this challenge would go much faster if you can send the toy flying far away. The best way to do so would be to get to an elevated point or perhaps make one yourself, building a ramp in the mountainous region in the southeast of the map. You could meet the goal in just a few kicks from there. The main disadvantage is that you would lose valuable time that could have gone towards earning Arena Hype Points or other challenges.
Scoring a goal uses the same mechanic, only this time you would need to kick the ball past the goalposts at one of the previously mentioned soccer fields. Once again, you should watch out for enemies who may wish to stop you. Team Rumble may be the best mode for completing this challenge as it allows for quick respawns in case you get killed. You might also want to seek out the less accessible dockyard field if you encounter too much resistance. Once this step is done, you would just need to get three kills while wearing the Outfit to finish the initial questline.
Epic Quests
The remaining cosmetics are locked away behind the Weekly Epic Quests – the latest version of the Weekly Challenges offered by story-critical quest givers all around the map. Note that while each week in the season adds new quests, you can still complete the ones from earlier weeks. Their objectives, including leaks from upcoming weeks, are as follows:
| Week | Objective |
| One |
|
| Two |
|
| Three |
|
| Four |
|
| Five |
|
| Six |
|
| Seven |
|
| Eight |
|
| Nine |
|
| Ten |
|
| Eleven |
|
| Twelve |
|
While many of those challenges are quite easy, they can leave you exposed. Once again, Team Rumble may be the best option for finishing them quickly. Finishing sixty quests in the remaining time will be a major endeavor, but it might just be worth it. You would not only receive a vibrant and lively set of cosmetics but also earn 24,000 Experience for every quest, making it easy to combine this pursuit with powerleveling.
Conclusion
Soccer has been a surprisingly major theme for Fortnite in recent months. Between the earlier Pele cup and football club skins and this Neymar Jr. set and the accompanying solo tournament in Creative Mode, there has been no shortage of related content. Although not everyone is pleased with this meeting of the world, clearly a lot of players do enjoy both soccer and battle royales. Perhaps this link will continue to grow in the near future, in which case players who are less familiar with the rules may decide to get coaching to keep up!
