How To Collect All Predator Items

First seen in the 1987 movie of the same name, the Predator is a fierce and resourceful alien warrior from the Yautja species who hunts other intelligent beings for sport. The current season of Fortnite is all about hunters, making the Yautja a natural new addition to the multiplayer shooter’s colorful roster of characters. By defeating the Predator in combat and completing a series of other guests during their matches, players who have bought the season’s Battle Pass can earn the ability to take on this terrifying enemy’s appearance and enhance it with the help of several highly distinctive cosmetic items.
First quest
The first three entries in the Jungle Hunter questline released ahead of the Predator’s actual arrival, forming a sort of prelude to the main event and offering Uncommon cosmetic items. Those quests will take you all over the battle royale map, giving you an added objective to follow in addition to or instead of seeking conventional wins. Bandolier will give you your first task: tracking down a mysterious pod that touched down in the jungle. You will need to travel to the Stealthy Stronghold in the northern part of the map, then search the site’s northwestern corner. The alien pod looks obviously out of place, so you should have no trouble spotting it. That will be enough to finish the quest and give you your first reward: a Banner with the alien’s likeness. You can also destroy the pod to access a loot chest.
Second quest
Your next quest will require you to speak to Beef Boss, Remedy, and Dummy. All of them may spawn directly southeast of the Stealthy Stronghold and north of Pleasant Park, but it is also possible for them to appear in more remote locations. You can find Beef Boss either in the Durrr Burger Food Truck down a dirt path from the stronghold or in the Durrr Burger restaurant itself along the road southwest of the Weeping Woods. Remedy has a house on top of the hill overlooking the food truck; alternately, you can hike across the river to find her in Craggy Cliffs. Finally, Dummy may be found standing in the middle of a circle of stones immediately south of the truck. Otherwise, you will have to seek him out in the Compact Cars junkyard by the river to the west of Dirty Docks. Once you have spoken to all of them, you will receive an Emoticon in the form of the iconic alien weapon reticle.
Third quest
Remedy will give you the third quest: picking up three Medkits. That is a very simple task, as you can easily complete it without deviating from regular gameplay. After all, Medkits are a highly desirable object already, and they drop as floor loot or from any number of common containers. The optimal path may be to play Team Rumble due to the mode’s increased drop rate. Note that you can finish this quest over several matches. Success will yield a flashy and menacing Spray. The fourth quest, obtaining a weapon of Legendary or greater rarity, definitely favors that mode since it ensures easier access to higher quality gear. Simply upgrading a weapon to the desired rarity by bringing a gold bar to a vendor (such as Brutus at the docks) will satisfy the quest’s requirements, giving you a new themed loading screen.
Hunting
Naturally, the hardest part of the storyline will be hunting the alien hunter himself. You will need to travel back to the Stealthy Stronghold in order to track him down. The Predator is always on the move, although he will not leave that point of interest. He will usually hide using the overgrown environment and a cloaking device that only leaves a faintly shimmering outline – which may be hard to spot unless you know exactly what you’re looking for. When he attacks, he becomes visible, but that may come as no relief due to his powerful melee swipe combo. However, this combo also leaves him wide open to a counterattack. A shotgun maybe your best option for finishing the warrior off quickly due to its instant stopping power. If you fail to do so, he may leap or run away, forcing you to track him down all over again.
Other players gunning for the same prize pose an added difficulty, as they may kill you along the way or steal your quarry from right under your nose. While you may be able to take the Predator down one-on-one, it will require a lot of skill and perhaps coaching. Doing so while contending with player interference is even harder, so you may want to bring along a full squad of allies to watch your back and help you corner your prey.
Although difficult, a successful hunt will be worth the effort, as it will give you the Mythic cloaking device and the Predator skin itself. The device will not be accessible in the Arena, but it will help you take down rival players everywhere else. You will receive the same benefits as the Predator himself did, near-invisibility that can be disrupted by attacking, switching weapons, or entering bodies of water. That still leaves many tactical opportunities if you can use it as well as its previous owner did, sneaking up on distracted opponents or using environmental cover. The Legendary Outfit is very intimidating and quite unlike any other in the game. Equipping it is required to complete all of the remaining quests and acquire other Legendary cosmetics.
Other quests
Most of those quests are very straightforward in other regards. To get an otherworldly monster’s skull as a grisly trophy to be worn over your back, you will need to acquire a bounty on another player given by any of the passive NPCs on the map and then carry out the kill before anyone can steal it. Visiting the Predator’s Apartment in the tallest building of Hunter’s Haven, east of the Weeping Woods, will give you a fearsome bestial roar emote that is exclusive to the Predator Outfit. The trademark wristbands are in as a harvesting tool that you can earn simply by staying within ten meters of a player for at least half a minute – a task made easier by the cloaking device. The Rare sci-fi wrap for your weapons and vehicles calls for you to inflict 100 damage while in thermal mode, which will require you to first catch a thermal fish and unlock its heat vision effect. After that, a single sniper headshot should be more than enough for you to reach the goal. With those tasks done, you will have the entire bundle necessary to truly embody the pitiless interstellar hunter, striking terror into the hearts of your opponents.
